Many notions that we call ‘abstract’ for reasons of convenience, because they lie outside our immediate daily experience, or which we describe as abstract provisionally to serve the needs of our logic, correspond to experiences that are deeper and more real than our own, experiences that are lived by the cosmic consciousness of which we are only exteriorisations or particles. The notion of justice is an abstraction, granted; but the Universal Equilibrium whence it derives, and which particular acts of justice manifest, is as concrete as the Universe itself.
