 que se ponha o agente (Täter) de novo no interior do fazer (Tun), depois de tê-lo extraído dele, conceitualmente, e de se ter, com isso, esvaziado o fazer; que se retomem o fazer-algo, a “meta”, a “intenção”, o “fim” novamente no fazer, depois de tê-los artificialmente extraído dele e de se ter, com isso, esvaziado o fazer.

Que todos os “fins”, “metas”, “sentidos” são só modos de expressão e metamorfoses da única vontade, que é inerente a todo acontecer: a vontade de poder. Ter fins, metas, intenções, querer em geral, tal é como querer-tornar-se-mais-fortalecido, querer crescer, e para tal também querer os meios.

Que o instinto mais universal e o mais ínfimo permaneceram em todo o fazer e querer, justamente por isso o mais desconhecido e o mais oculto, porque, in praxi, seguimos sempre o seu mandamento, pois somos esse mandamento... Todas as apreciações de valor são consequências e perspectivas mais estreitas a serviço dessa única vontade: o apreciar o valor mesmo é somente essa vontade de poder; uma crítica do ser a partir de qualquer um desses valores é algo como um contrassenso e um mal-entendido; posto mesmo que nisso se introduza um processo de sucumbência, então esse processo permanece, do mesmo modo, a serviço dessa vontade de poder.

Apreciar o ser mesmo: mas o apreciar mesmo é esse ser ainda — : e à medida que dizemos não, então fazemos sempre ainda o que somos... Precisa-se entender a absurdidade dessa atitude que corrige a existência; e depois procurar ainda decifrar o que se dá realmente com isso. É sintomático.

68 that one should take the doer back into the deed after having conceptually removed the doer and thus emptied the deed; that one should take doing something, the “aim,” the “intention,” the “purpose,” back into the deed after having artificially removed all this and thus emptied the deed.

All “purposes,” “aims,” “meaning” are only modes of expression and metamorphoses of one will that is inherent in all events: the will to power. To have purposes, aims, intentions, willing in general, is the same thing as willing to be stronger, willing to grow—and, in addition, willing the means to this.

The most universal and basic instinct in all doing and willing has for precisely this reason remained the least known and most hidden, because in praxi we always follow its commandments, because we are this commandment—

All valuations are only consequences and narrow perspectives in the service of this one will: valuation itself is only this will to power.

A critique of being from the point of view of any one of these values is something absurd and erroneous. Even supposing that a process of decline begins in this way, this process still stands in the service of this will.

To appraise being itself! But this appraisal itself is still this being!—and if we say no, we still do what we are.

One must comprehend the absurdity of this posture of judging existence, and then try to understand what is really involved in it. It is symptomatic.

Werth alles Abwerthens. — Meine Forderung ist, dass man den Thäter wieder in das Thun hineinnimmt, nachdem man ihn begrifflich aus ihm hei ausgezogen und damit das Thun entleert hat; dass man das Etwas-thun, das „Ziel“, die „Absicht“, dass man den „Zweck“ wieder in das Thun zurücknimmt, nachdem man ihn künstlich aus ihm herausgezogen und damit das Thun entleert hat.

Alle „Zwecke“, „Ziele“, „Sinne“ sind nur Ausdrucksweisen und Metamorphosen des Einen Willens, der allem Geschehen inhärirt: des Willens zur Macht. Zwecke-, Ziele-, Absichten-haben, Wollen überhaupt, ist (138) soviel wie Stärker-werden-wollen, Wachsen-wollen und dazu auch die Mitfel wollen.

Der allgemeinste und unterste Instinkt in allem Thun und Wollen ist eben deshalb der unerkannteste und verborgenste geblieben, weil in praxi wir immer seinem Gebote folgen, weil wir dies Gebot sind . . .

Alle Werthschätzungen sind nur Folgen und engere Perspektiven im Dienste dieses Einen Willens: das Werthschätzen selbst ist nur dieser Wille zur Macht.

Eine Kritik des Seins aus irgend einem dieser Werthe heraus ist etwas Widersinniges und Missverständliches. Gesetzt selbst, dass sich darin ein Untergangsprocess einleitet, so steht dieser Process noch im Dienste dieses Willens . . .

Das Sein selbst abschätzen! Aber das Abschatzen selbst ist dieses Sein noch! — und indem wir Nein sagen, thun wir immer noch was wir sind.

Man muss die Absurdität dieser daseinsrichtenden Gebärde einsehn; und sodann noch zu errathen suchen, was sich eigentlich damit begiebt. Es ist symptomatisch.
